YO GEORGIANS! :)

well, I'm gonna eat some when I want them, LOL we had breakfast for lunch today, then I got a text from a customer, 'do you have any eggs'.....I was one short of a full dozen, went out to the coop and low and behold one of my leghorn girls had helped me out, LOL so I texted her back we had a dozen. on another note, We got new fuzzy butts! :weee some of the MFD's carcar hatched out so tiny!
Oh, those are just precious! I want some more bantam babies! Alas, I am focusing on standards this year.

I'm looking at this one (1588 Hova-bator Incubator PLUS 1611 Automatic Egg Turner) that hold 41 eggs for $169.99

And this one (Brinsea Octagon 20 Advance) that hold 24 eggs at $359.99.

I've read good reviews on both and prefer to spend for the Hova-bator but not if there is a huge difference in performance.
My 20 hens are laying between 14-19 eggs/day and I think now would be a good time for me to start trying to hatch some chicks.

Please give me the pros and cons of each as I would rather hear from you folks that actually do this.
Thanks

I'm a Brinsea girl, to me it was so worth the money but check amazon, I got mine really cheap this time a few years ago. well cheap for them
At my DD in Leesburg, VA Look at the house across the street! Snow up to the door nobs and half way up the garage door!

Trying to find the steps!

That just looks too cold, when you go out side don't forget the flares just in case you get lost.
I was just watching some you tube vids, have you seen any of the porcelin colored ones? OMG!!!

I didn't know you were getting into bantams

I grew up in Sterling, spent a lot of time in Leesburg.
Fun times!

My brother and sister in law live in Sterling still. Their 4 year old twins are LOVING this snow!

Even though I have all of these eggs in the incubator I have thought of placing an order with Purely Poultry. (Yeah I may have a problem) Has anyone ever ordered from them? Or know of anyone that may have and their experience?
