My friend is texting me from the show.. She says "sooo many birds for sale".. And says there are chicks and eggs too!

oh crap. I guess it's a good thing I only have $2 in my pocket. Lol i'm just gonna try tonremind myself that I'm only there to view the 3-4 breeds that I'm interested in adding this yr.

Heading home from the show! Got a dozen mottled Orpington hatching eggs. Guy was asking $35 but I got them for $20! He just sold the hens he had there for $75 each! Says he sells the chicks for $35 each! Also bought 4 dark dark Marans eggs. One of different colors ( Lav, birchen, black and blue). Can't wait to get them in the Bator!

I went to the egg judging booth and asked. They judge their best three eggs, but one lady sold me my choice of the ones not in the show. They were nice and dark, too!

I just want everyone to know that I very much dislike this Tabasco Jack character. He met with GAM today to deliver some eggs. I had REALLY gotten my hopes up that he was going to keep her. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.................... She came home again.

Is it REALLY too much to ask for just ONE little kidnapping? This is just as bad as the time I tried to leave her at Flower's house and her husband put GAM back in my truck while I wasn't looking.

From this point forward I am invoking one rule. For anyone wishing to meet GAM, you must agree to keep her. Kthanks.

No, the daughter isn't part of the "you gotta keep her" rule. But if you think she works hard and you can deal with her smell, we can work out a rental deal. Long term lease, maybe? Win Win for me.... I get rid of her AND make money.
