YO GEORGIANS! :)

Will someone tell DH that the mating of ducks and birds can look mean, but it is nature!!!! My DH wants me to get rid of one of my male runner ducks because he is "grabbing them by the neck and making them terrified!" And they holler and scream! Ummmmm, so do I!!! LOL Ummmm, forget I said that!

I'm sorry I would love to forget that but it's burned into my memory....of course there was a little voice in there going yeah I'm not the only one lol.

Yeah, they do it in the lake all the times. We've actually had renters come to tell us that one duck is trying to kill the other. You should see their faces when we tell them what is really happening. We had one pastor tell his wife that the male holds the female underwater so he doesn't have to hear her scream.

Lol, now see I would have expected "Don't worry Honey he is just baptizing her"

Yes ... he is onto the duck. Please do try to keep up.

I won the auction for the auto sexing easter eggers. I requested that the seller only send me girl eggs.

I know this is pure coincidence, but last night I was discussing my upcoming hatch of EE with a woman and I swear she asked me if I could tell her which ones were roosters and which were hens. I told her I had a hard time telling the chicks apart when they were OUT of the shell, and since these were still IN the shells.......... LOL she realized what she'd done and was embarrassed

my SIL was telling me that the grand daughter was mad at the rooster yesterday for 'attaching' her favorite hen

Well I have no chicken updates, congrats on all the hatching!!! But it's been a crazy weekend...we added the 6 ducklings thursday, then my husband decided we needed a hog, after going to pick it up we wound up bringing home 2 hogs, and 3 rabbits, one of which will birth in a little over 2 weeks. ...did I mention we had no where to out them all?
Thank god the weather has been nice bc we've been out all weekend setting up. And since today is so nice I decided the little ducks needed to meet the big ones sooner than later while I cleaned their tub, one of my Pekins snapped in to momma mode as soon as she saw them.

Welcome to my farm!
