YO GEORGIANS! :)

I am selling 4 hens. 1 is a Silver Laced Wyandotte and 3 are Olive Eggers. Will take $25 each or $20 each if you buy all 4. Planning to post them on craigslist in the morning unless I have some takers on here. Just inbox me if interested. I hatched the OE on July 18th and I got the SLW from Ladds that same week.

I decided if I plan to breed the Isbar and have 3 different lines hopefully hatching then I should start making room and getting ready for them. I also plan to have Orust and a few other breeds if they hatch. Should know in 10 days. So far I have a high fertility rate but as we all know, cant count them until you see fuzz on hatching day.

Woohoooo we got in Crested Ducks, Cayuga's, Blue/Fawn Runners and what appears to be an Ancona or something similar today. Grabbed a Cayuga finally and can someone confirm or deny the Ancona?
Is it the first one you're asking about? I have 6 2 week old ducklings and 4 are pekin and I have no clue the other two, but "Moo" looks very similar...

I have only seen a couple of people respond to the date for the get together at our place. Hopefully April 30th is good for everybody. Unless GAM has an issue that I don't know about (God knows I do know about so many of her issues) we will have it on April 30th.

Is this a meet and greet as well as an egg swap? Where is the location of the meeting?
I think sometimes... Posts get lost when there is a lot of activity on here and people don't see them.
Too bad we couldn't have sub- directories for us that would fall under Georgians.

Yes, this is a social event as well as egg swap. Papa makes a mean bbq and others bring whatever they would like to contribute. We have some chairs but suggest bringing your own. And this is at our farm in SW Paulding County.

That first picture looks mallard to me and the second possibly khaki campbell

Dang. I looked at our renters schedule for April 30. We are suppose to be having a wedding here! Ugh! Probably means I can't come. Too much to do when we have a wedding! Maybe I can get someone who is going to swing by and get some eggs and swap them for me.

Oh! If it is a KC duck and it's female, you will love it! Lays more eggs than any other duck and it won't fly away like a lot of ducks do when they are grown! I love the one we got from a guy whose other ducks all flew away and left this one! Although, I do have to say.....she is sooooo loud!

I'm sooooo excited!! All that chicken knowledge in one place!!
I'm going to put it on my calender now and hopefully will be able to make it!

Just got my first pip from my eggs due tomorrow! It is an exchequer leghorn/Brahma mix. I sold my EL last month and had this one last egg from her and decided to throw it into the bator! Glad to have a baby from her. Absolutely beautiful bird except lays medium egg. Getting rid of all my medium egg layers. Only want large/X-large ones.

man, flower what are you talking about, they can get married without you, unless you're going to be there to give instructions for that night..... since you know about that screaming stuff.....

anyway

put 11 ameraucana eggs in lockdown today! second try hopefully will be better than last weeks try. The fan I put in seems to really help keep temps even all around it.

another note, I got my pallet coop divided yesterday and last night after dark, moved the MFD's to their section. They are sure loving being able to get down on the ground, and they are fascinated with the AM's in the joining coop. carcar says she thinks it's beard envy, I think they're just showing off their feet "we have pretty shoes and you don't" kind of thing
