YO GEORGIANS! :)

Had fun today.
Took my candling class and met Silver Hill.

Now waiting for the email so I can print the license.
And waiting for an artist to talk about logos so I can print labels.

***for sale***

There is a friend of mine who just contacted me- she bought four hens from be back last year I believe it was.. Two partridge brahmas, a black star and a buff orp. She also has a GLW- so five hens total. And a coop. Due to neighbor troubles she is looking to sell all together for $200. Any takers?

Here are the birds.. pic of coop to come. These were hatched from our original group of PB, GAM.. Look at that sharp pattern.. What the heck?? LOL

((She is asking around too so stay tuned for updated info)

this just blew my mind.

It's a perfect solution for my little situation. It would be a bonus actually. The birds I will be bringing home from the swap will put me at capacity for our coop but still won't exactly even out the chicken math. 2 roos, 8 ladies. Well, 7 really because of Honey's condition, she won't live a long life. James will be a bachelor, still. Ain't no way Stanley's giving any girls up. He's straight pimpin' over here. All the ladies blow James off. Poor little guy. If I were to add any more than those 3, I would need either a bigger coop or a second one. The math is perfect, for the birds. But it's not in the money cards for us right now. It's the perpetual situation where, when ya have $ to spend, you never see anything ya want to buy. Then when you don't have it, there's always something passing ya by!

edit to add: I have a feeling I'm gonna be laying in bed awake all night thinking about it. LOL

Saw a medium size brown dog swimming in my water just now. Not one from the other day I don't think. This one is blondish brown with a tight coat and not as big as those.

Either way, I decided to walk up the drive and check her out. She was in her own little world, paddling around and drinking. She got out and shook off and I heard tags!! I clicked to her and she looked at me. "Here we go, I've got her!!" I thought. Muahahahhaahaaaaa!!.. Right?

I squatted and held my hand out.. Heeere she comes.. She's some type of bully mix, I notice. She lowers her head as she gets near and slows, smiles the biggest smile and just came right to me.

Sweetest. Dog. EVER.

DANG IT!! Why couldn't she be just the slightest bit of trouble? She had a Rockmart AH tag on (current, surprisingly) but that was it. No personal tag. But now at least if I do see her causing trouble I'll have that info for AC.

Bless her heart. Lovey.

aww. sweet. bullies really are kind. they need love too!

Got my rooster booster today.

Now. Who's gonna tell me how the heck I figure out how much feed = one pound??

Rooster Booster multi worker triple action ------- 1/3 ounce per pond of feed. The rooster booster I received has a scoop with it and a label on the lid --- 1/3 ounce per pound.

Does anyone have any Brahma chicks this year?
I do not need anymore. My brooder is full of Marans, Cochins, Isbars, Bielefelders, and a couple lavender ameraucanas. I really wanted a pretty Brahma....
I have a problem!
