Alright does anyone need birds? I need to get rid of a White Crested Duck, a Golden 300 Duck, a 2 week old Buff Orpington chick, a 2 day old Black Swedish, a 2 day old Pekin, and a Marsh Daisy x Cream Legbar cockerel. All of these need to go asap.

Holy. Carp.

Now I have FOUR broody MFD.

Seriously.. Is it contagious!?
one of my AMs decided to go broody. So I took her out of the pen, put her in my stock tank brooder and gave her 5 eggs to sit on. Went out a bit later, and she was standing looking out and not sitting on the eggs. Like she was rebelling against me taking her out of the pen. I told her, "sit your butt on those eggs, or tomorrow you go on the smoker that's sitting right here, I ain't puttin up with ANOTHER rebellious minded female.........."

this morning and all day, she's decided she'd rather sit on the eggs..... she has her own feeder and water. If she isn't going to be laying eggs the next 3 or 4 weeks anyway, she might as well be good for SOMETHING.....

Well, I've already decided I may give these girls some dang chicks to co-raise and see how they do. I'm about to be covered over in chicks I'm afraid, lol.

AAAAA! Your sooo luckily!! None of my 5 hens want to be broody! I truely blame my stocking rooster. (My rooster likes to watch hens lay. He a creep)
:lau too funny!

Yeah, used to, when I didn't have a working incubator and one of my Brahmas would go broody, I was all "woohoo!"

Now, I do NOT need help incubating.. And those little squirt bantams can't fit enough under them anyway!
