It would be wonderful to have more than one a year, if you guys would wan to come back. Hmmm, let me think .... maybe around early November so you can help me process a ton of turkeys? Hahaha

You can have a box full of a deep hay and make a bantam size deep hole then put the eggs in it with her and it shouldnt move away. I hope your broody will hatch them and I was talking about your broody and my family might let one of my hens hatch a chick or two if one go broody.
 
Awww! My sweet hubby went to town EARLY today.
Started making bacon and eggs, with blueberry muffins.
I kind of wondered, cause we rarely make breakfast other than cereal or maybe oatmeal. but then he wished me Happy Mothers Day. Had to tell him he was a week early.

But I appreciate the thought (and BACON)!
 
TabascoJack ... those quail eggs were a BIG hit. Sorry we didn't get them out while you were still there. Do you have a trick for peeling them or did you really hand peel that many eggs? Yummy!

I've been hoping for one! I finally bought chicks, maxed out my space and now I have a broody! I wish I had brahma eggs. If give them to her!
