YO GEORGIANS! :)

HA, I also have a built in brooder cage, accessible from inside,

or out side for easy cleaning,

and opens into it's own section of divided run. Divider can be opened and tied back for when I don't need it

Sorry, Papa. Somehow I missed your post! I am really liking the idea of a juvenile/broody pen under the roosts! I can't wait to post pics of the new coop, but am waiting until it is stained and almost finished! Our neighbors all come over and say, "Holy cow!" LOL! I want to put up some cute decorations, but that will be later, too.

Dang it!!! I cut the grass in the pasture and one side of the house, made the first loop around the sidewalk and... OUT OF GAS

Mr Carcar "thought" he put enough in it to do all the grass.. Really? Really, did you?

So uh ... is your gas-putter-inner broken?

Hope dad is well. Saw him out cutting the grass. (But he didn't need somebody else to fill his gas tank.)

Well.. It wasn't broken but it WAS stuck, seeing as I had no gas to put in it. So I had to take a break to go GET the gas, then put it in. Which wasn't helpful for my time crunch to pick up Mr Carcar Jr.. lol

Aww, my sweet Daddy. Yes, we both like to cut grass!

Thanks flower

My new Cochin babies! I know one is a black split to lav.. I know one is a Lav.. I assume two others are as well.. And one is a silver laced, though I'm not positive which one.

lol

The Lav:

Lavs? They seem light for a black but I have no idea

Split, I'm pretty sure (as opposed to silver lace)

Silver laced? The beak is a splotch of black and not uniform so I believe so

And then all together.. (Along with one tiny runt MFD who needed to be with his own size). I decided to brood these inside for a bit until the porch brooder clears out
I think you are right on the Silver Laced. Mine were always dark all over except yellow or white chest and wings and 2 white stripes down the back. Sometimes they would have some yellow on their face almost like a mask and sometimes not.

If y'all don't mind, keep my Daddy in your prayers today and this weekend. He has been in remission from Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma for some months now, and goes for a scan today as he's having the same original symptoms.. just on the opposite side.

Thanks.

Best time saver and cleanest coop if you pick it when they come off the roost. I use PINE PELLET STALL BEDDING on the poop board and the floor of the coop. You can pick it with a large cat liter scoop and smells like fresh pine.

the pine pellet was that what was in the tub you were showing me? and where do you get it? Can you post a pic of your other side so I can see your nest boxes
