YO GEORGIANS! :)

I will most definitely let you know when they are ready. I have about 350-400 very sexually active beetles right now so I'm hoping to have my first batch of worms ready by August. I don't know anywhere around us that sells them so I'm hoping to have pretty good luck. I've always liked bugs so this could be a win-win for me.

I already have a some but want to add more ... happy to buy local vs. ordering online.

Wanted to share pics of my new baby. Yes, both are the same hatchling.
A NN, feathered EE!

Hatched from a blue egg, Flowerbh, who might the parents be?

I love the yellow belly and spots on the face.

Also have a blue one.

Beau must be the dad because of the feathered legs. He is a Brahma. Electra is the only NN who lays a light blue odd shaped egg. He is also a frizzle. In fact , you guys were talking about her weird eggs at the swap.

I also have a blue NN that lays a light green egg. Are you sure it was a light blue?

In any case, I hope you will enjoy the NNs. They are adorably ugly. I love them.

I'm not sure if blue or green. Daughter was "helping" and pulled the empties out when I was moving babies.

Walked the dogs today and when I returned there were 3 turkey babies, one chick a rooster and his girlfriend a buff orpington gone. That's almost half my flock. At first I thought a hawk got the babies but realize with the adults it must be a pack of coyotes to get that many. No more walks for awhile. Will coyotes kill dogs? I have a beagle mix and a 80 pound retriever.

Has anyone else had this problem?
