YO GEORGIANS! :)

Just finished my second hatch. 17 out of 19. I was sad because one died at the last minute. Can't seem to get that 100%! But, that was a good hatch, Cute little buggers! Lots of cute big cheeked chicks! PM me if you are interested in any!

Moved these to a bigger brooder....after seeing them all bunched together after the first night, I lowered the heat lamp.

One of my newbies! Biggest puffy cheeks ever!

If you have Georgia in your heart,
if you have feathers in your hair and green stuff under your fingernails,
if you used to drive 20 miles to get to the Walmart,
if your deodorant smells like pine trees or you got your hair cut at "Aunt Bunnie's Hair Barn",
if you have anyone in your family who has a hyphenated name (Mikey-Ray, Skeeter-Wayne, Joe-Roy, Lizzy-Sue),
If you like eggs and biscuits for the evening meal and the evening meal is called "Supper",
If you feel exhilarated when someone calls you a "DOG",
THEN feel free to jump on-board.

I guess I'm a transplanted rebel now. I was born and raised in a little po dunk town of turnerville GA. Went in the army and after that moved to Clarkesville when I got out. Got married and moved to the little town of Brookton outside of Clermont. Then for some crazy reason I moved up here to up state New York. I hate the winters but it is way out in the country. Lots and lots of farm land. Nice in the summer spring and fall but these winters ain't no joke. Haha.

Well it looks like my hens didnt like the differance of the little white chick that hatched. Buried little betty today in the azalea.
And one tiny little onr hatched out today that mama rejected. Have it in the house for now trying to get it to eat and drink. If it survives the night will be rehoming it. Strong suspician is a roo but I am new to all this so am likely wrong. Oy.
