YO GEORGIANS! :)

So, we picked up this girl today from JoshFig and I just found out she's a Black Tail Buff Japanese bantam. Really cool girl who can fly over a 4ft fence with a stumpy wing after being stripped of feathers on it by a car at some point. We've named her Nemo.

I have some crested creme leg bar boys if anyone is interested, they are still under the heat lamp. Their from SilverHill's flock he has nice birds, but hatched a bunch of boys, oh he still has the girls, I just took the boys to put with my babies and see if we can sell them.

It shouldn't be hard to sell them. I have a 3 month old male I am growing out for a friend of mine. Luckily, out of the 4 purebreds I hatched, 3 were girls and one boy. Oh, and remember Rocky Rhodes? Well, he lost his Crested Legbar Roo. He might want some more! I like my CCL roo because he is good for those blue egg genes when hatching chicks. My only problem is that he gets chased off by the Brahma rooster and I don't think he is getting to many girls!

If you see Rocky tell him I have some boys!!! Sounds like you need another boy to distract your Brahma, lol

I don't have any yet! (Sorry...just saw this!) I am expecting 30 crested hatching eggs soon---mix of polish, sultans, houdans & crevecoeurs...we shall see what we get! I'm busying myself with getting all of my stuff together to be prepared. My child's kindergarten teacher does an agriculture based curriculum and they are hatching the eggs for me. The eggs arrive on March 21st. I'm just trying to absorb all the chicken info I can! What kind of chickens do you have?

How much? I need one.

Anyone have a rooster in the Atlanta area (north/west ideally) that needs a home. We ideally are looking for a Rhode Island Red, Black Australorp or White Leghorn (although a Maran would suffice as well). Time to start hatching eggs in a few weeks.
