YO GEORGIANS! :)

I'm so glad I haven't joined the peach state group
Me too, and I won't be at this point. Kat, I'll probably be going to somewhere in Middle Georgia (sounds like Middle Earth ) on Saturday and meeting with Marie. Would you like me to get your birds for you? I can go to Rome on Sunday. Just let me know.

It would be great if we could put together a last-minute pot luck somewhere for this Saturday since our event has been CANCELLED! I have 4-6 racks of pork ribs I could smoke tomorrow and bring to the Middle Earth venue on Saturday. I need to get my reserved Orp hatching eggs from a breeder while I can, and Lisa still wants to move some of her extra Silkie boys.

On another note, I get a real kick out of one of Lisa's Black Partridge Silkie roosters, Biff. Lately, every time she gets near him, he does the rooster shuffle dance and hops toward her sideways. I think he's in love! He doesn't do that to me or Christopher, just Lisa! :lau

@brucifer regarding sourwood honey, I have seen a listing here and there on some of my FB groups that mentioned it, but I wouldn't put it past the seller to be selling last year's crop. The honey man I by from would be the one to call.
Ehh, when I went to get his number from his ad in the paper, he definitely says sourwood and fresh crop wildflower. 706-781-3343 Michael

@eclecktic1 Thank you so much! I will be giving him a call. Have you bought yet this year? Lisa and I usually go up to Dahlonega each year to buy some. I've tasted lots of different kinds of honey, but that sourwood is extra special. Thanks again!

:welcome Pull up a chair, and tell us about yourself! We're all friendly here.

I raise mostly various Orpington varieties and French Black Copper Marans. We also raise Silkies and a dabble in a few other breeds such as Crested Cream Legbars. We recently downsized, but we still have 60+ birds. Your turn! :D
