YO GEORGIANS! :)

Hello all, I'm back. Took the wife and kid into TSC to get feed for my two remaining ducks and the wife said you know I really would like some baby ducks. That turned into "well if we're doing baby ducks we may as well get chicks so I can have fresh eggs." So now the one who did not want anything to do with having birds just got us 8 deep again. Threw together a brooder yesterday and now we've got a khaki cambel, a buff duck, 2 black australorps, 2 blue Andalusians, and 2 barnevelders. Does anyone have a lead on Muscovy ducklings?
Would you like to have a young muscovy drake? There is a Florida member, @B&B duck lady, who has adopted a muscovy (we think drake). She loves this duck and has been an incredible duck mom but he's getting big now and he needs to be with other ducks or at least be outdoors. She lives in an area where the HOA won't allow her to keep the duck. If anyone can help please contact either me , @Miss Lydia or B&B duck lady. She is willing to drive it to a good home!

I’d be happy to give him a home. I’ve adopted 11 muscovy so far. Three of them are sweet drakes. My Scovy get to enjoy the 55 acre lake we live on. And I supplement their diet every morning. I’m in Mount Zion, GA 30117.
Oh that is great news! I think that B&B duck lady works but I know she will be checking in soon. I'm only 35 minutes from you! If I have to I'll go meet her somewhere and bring the duck to you!

I need chicken eggs for hatching in my classroom

Hello everyone! I am a second grade teacher at Sope Creek Elementary in Marietta, GA and every year we like to hatch chickens for our life cycle unit. I am looking for someone who is willing to donate fertilized eggs for hatching. I am happy to return them to you once they hatch, if that is something you would like. The students love being able to see first hand how the chicken life cycle works. It is one of my favorite units to teach in my classroom. If you know of anyone who is willing to help a teacher out by donating eggs, please let me know.

Want more? LOL!
