Hopefully you didn’t need a boat to get out today. Guess you at least found a good side to all this rain, placements for coops lol.

No boat. it’s all dry now and I didn’t even look around my property before it dried so I wasn’t even able to pick a good new spot for my chickens

It's SO wet here still...the water table was still high from the last rain so this one made little lakes in our yard. My chickens were already set up in one of the driest areas of the yard though.

I should have some chicks in a couple of weeks if anyone is interested. I don't know what I will have yet but possibilities are

I wish but my wife would probably kill me, nevermind yes she would kill me lol. She has told me no more chickens until the batch in the brooder is outside and doing well.

Where my chickens are now it doesn’t create puddles but it’s in my front yard and I kinda wanna move em elsewhere so they can free range because right now if I open their pen to free range they’ll most likely go straight for my garden which is real close to their pens.

So for now I’m not letting them free range. Only my guineas and one rooster who lives with them are able to free range.

I use the shock or not poultry netting. It's easy to move around And keep them free ranging where you want them.

Did you finally fix your humidity and incubator problem?
My kids want me to add some eggs to the incubator so I may just go ahead and do small batches at a time because I really don’t want 10+ chicks I gotta take care of ever again. (I say this as I have 12+ Jersey Giants and 5+ turkey poults that will be mailed to me next week. Which reminds me I’m not ready!!)
