We have a few bunnies for sale right now

Should you want hatching eggs, our ladies continue to lay well and we will continue to offer those as you like. You can order a mixed dozen or eggs of your choice.

Our current bunny selection is New Zealand, Rex and Mini Rex

Have a great day. Nancy.

tae_boe I just looked and we are about 4 hours from Bainbridge, I dont think we will make it to that auction any time soon but thank you for the info.

I've posted before but I'm in Harris county also, just north of Columbus.

I have a few of ILoveFrizzles' Buff Orpingtons and Barred Rocks running around here -- gorgeous healthy birds, highly recommended!

Is anyone interested in getting certified to candle and grade eggs? Apparently this is required in Georgia if you want to sell eggs, even just to neighbors. (For small numbers of hens/eggs, you don't have to get your facilities inspected, but you do have to take the free class and pass the test.) I've just inquired about it and gotten the info, but haven't studied it yet.

I heard about the certification requirement in a random Facebook post on a friend's page... couldn't find anything online, so I wrote to the GA Dept of Agriculture to find out.

Here is a link to one of the documents they sent: http://www2.georgia.gov/vgn/images/portal/cit_1210/53/13/134706158Basic%20Regulatory%20Requirements%20for%20Licensing%20a%20Small%20Egg%20Producer.pdf

They
are setting up (free) classes for the Fall. PM me with your email address and I'll forward the email with the attachments so you can contact the person if you want.

I'm originally from Harris County (Ellerslie) but live up in Armuchee Ga for several years now outside Rome, NW section of Ga. If you live in Harris County, naturally you know Mike Jolly.
