Brown laced means brown coloration over their legs....Not dark brown but brown coloration....I'll try to get photos of them...We've been crazy busy at the farms, selling chicks and bunnies, veggies and milk and some farm tours too! Sorry if I didn't get to your mail....By all means, just write me again...It's okay! This week we've mailed 13 boxes of eggs and more to head out today!

All of Bargains Chickens are beautiful. I got 2 RIR chicks from her last year that grew to be big beautiful birds, I have been to her farm and all her chickens are beautiful. You can't go wrong getting them from her-

I'm in Fayetteville, and I'm looking for a full grown barred rock rooster, a buff orpington rooster, a white leghorn rooster, or even a RIR or red star?? I thought it would be easy to find a rooster, but no luck! I can even trade a red star laying hen for one?? I can't drive very far, because I have 4 kids under 7 and going anywhere is insane!

Realized that I never really introduced myself.


Hey, I'm Nick, and I'm in the heart of the city. I have two coops- the tractor that will be leaving soon, and a small hutch-like 5 x 3 coop that's 2' off the ground, with a roughly 6 x 14 run. In the hutch, I have four pullets- EE, BSL, BR and White Rock.

In the brooder, I currently have 5 Delaware chicks from Cyn (speckledhen). They will move in the tractor next Friday. We're about to begin construction of a new 12 x 10 coop with a run about 20 x 15? I'm not sure of the exact measurements, yet.

I will be ordering a Hovabator Genesis 1588 soon, to do my first hatch in around 3 years!

I plan on hatching BBS and Lav Ameraucanas and either Coronation Sussex or New Hampshires. Along with that, I would like to add Silkies and Marans this Spring/Summer.

I am very eager to get eggs from bargain! Nancy, how many bators do you have?

The chicks- I love their "worm wars". I kept having to rescue Luna (kind of a runt/slow grower from the hatch) to the picnic table for her to eat her's.
