I am hatching a few chicks myself right now --although just a small quantity due this weekend.. I will be expected an EXPLOSION of chicks from all the eggs I got at the show.. can't wait to see who hatches.

I have my first broody hen.. now that is an exciting experience for me. I can not wait to see a mother hen with her chicks.. I am a poor imitation to all the incubator hatchlings and am anxious to see chicken motherhood as God intended.

I am happy to see the activity on our Georgian board.. love seeing chicken peeps close enough to visit with.

I want to hatch a dozen Lav Ameraucanas from Happymtn and then 12+ BBS Ameraucanas. I am thinking that I also want good quality New Hampshires. I never liked the look of them, really, until I saw what real ones look like. Now I'm desperate! So I'm also looking for a 12+ New Hampshire eggs, and am hoping to get five girls.

So that would mean my curent assorted girls (BR, BSL, EE White Rock), 3 Delawares, and 5 New Hampshires. Sounds good to me! Wait... OOh! What about 6 marans eggs and 6 silkie eggs for the bator?? Just a thought!

I hope to hatch this month- BBS Ameraucanas and New Hampshires, and them next month the Lav Ameraucanas. But next month's hatch seems a little empty, doesn't it. No, no, no!

Hello everyone! Just read through the whooooole Ga thread lol. I dont believe I've answered. I live in southwest Ga (near Ft.Benning, Ga.) I've been fortunate enough to meet a couple of BYC members here in Ga and all them are wonderful.
