Hi jbowyer01 you are quite a ways from me but from what I read on here that are quite a few chicken people down your way. I must agree with you, everyone I have met through here has been absolutely GREAT!!!! we are all from GA though, so what else would you expect

Marietta's Hidden Chicks :

I'm in GA!!! In Marietta actually - just north of Atlanta! I pretend I'm really in the country!

Welcome! I am in Waverly Hall...about 80 miles south of Atlanta.

Gosh, Nancy, what a variety! Hey, yes, I want Marans eggs! I don't think I have room for Orps, sadly, maybe one day. I hope to start all over every two years, so if you can wait that long than I would love some. You won't need to add me to the list for a while, though!

I feel horrible! But, we got their heat lamp working so they are warm and happy, except for one who has a bum infection =/ Check it out in the emergencies section if you think you can help

I replied. So sorry!

I just wouldn't take the chance of overwhelming the chick with antibiotics. Not with a chick, but that's just me. I would/will cull for things like this always, to avoid further problems.

hugs and prayers and please no antibiotics with the babies, It could weaken their own immune system...Nancy

Hi y'all, Does anyone near Richmond Hill/Savannah GA have any Silkie chicks for sale? I'm looking for 2 females, color doesn't matter. I want to raise them with my new batch of chicks in hopes of having Bio-Bators next year.
thanx,
