Hello and Welcome to BYC. Glad that you are here in the poultry loving community.

Real name is John, and live a little north of Cookeville TN. I stumbled in here from a google search . I have 10 Golden Comet hens but started with 14. Planning on getting more and adding a rooster so I won't have to keep buying them (hopefully) but that is a whole new set of searches in the future. Golden Comets are great egg layers for sure but seem a little more susceptible to illnesses so i'll be going with R.I. Reds or Barred rock (or both) Hoping to gather more info to keep my friendly hens happy. a few hobbies like Woodworking, cars and motorcycles and others that I won't mention .

I just love my golden comets. They are so sweet and wonderful.
