I read that chickens like yogurt and couldn't believe it, so last night after feeding them some leftover garbonzo beans, which they LOVE - I was eating a yogurt in the garden and remembered that the girls may like it...I flipped a big spoonfull on the grass and soon enough they went to town on it! Sticking their beaks in it and shaking their heads! It is a riot! I need to get more and give them a bowl of it! My dog is too funny when the girls get their treats, as she (the dog) will eat anything the chics will eat, not because she likes it, just because it's the fair thing! So far she's eaten tomatoes, beans, and cherries, and yes, she licked a spoonful of yogurt last night! Hilarious. I have to say, that I love my dog and my cat, but nothing has brought more laughs than my chickens!
