Yogurt for chicks? When and how much?

Hey folks,

I have nine, 5 day old chicks (3 LH, 2 EE, 2RIR, 2PR), and have read multiple places about giving them some plain yogurt. Can anyone tell me when I should start? How much should I give? How long should I give it?

Same for vitamins. I didn't give them sugar water (read about that too late), but all are currently happy and chirping away. When should I start chick vitamins?

IMO, hearty healthy chicks don't need vitamins. They get everything they need from their chick starter.
I started plain yogurt at 10 days old. After they get over their initial fear of it they love it.
