You can hear them sort of smack their beaks (instead of smack their lips..) when they eat it can't you! Mine like it with scratch mixed in or bean sprouts mixed in. They get it all over their faces too, it's so funny.

I feed it to mine on a slice of bread and they sling it all over the place!

How do you feed it to them? Can you just fling some on the floor or does it have to be in a container? I read the above message where she put it on bread, but I have 17 hens and was wondering the best way to feed it to them.

i tryed to give some to mine and they didn't want anything to do with it

then i dipped their beaks in it and they spent the next 10 minutes wiping their beaks on anything they could find to get it off

I need some guidance on feeding yogurt to my six pullets:

What kind of yogurt is best for chickens?

Do I put it in a bowl?

Do I mix it with anything (like the chick starter they are on)?

How often is it safe to give it to them?

What is the food value (protein)?

It sound like they love it so I'd like to try it.
