How much yogurt, as a probiotic, should I give seven 7-9 wk old pullets after giving them Sulmet? Unknowingly, I gave them a small yogurt cup as a treat 2 days before I had to start them on antibiotic.

Glenda H. gave me this recipe

and put 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar per 1 gallon og water
and feed aa wet mash probiotic

for each chick make this
2tbsp of dry chicken crumbles
1tbsp of yoguart
2 tbsp of milk any kind
then feed this every day and when they are done clean the wet feeder up and restock dry crumbles

when not using the ACV you can put the vitamins in the water

This is to help my chicks from getting sick in a wet coop. (leaky roof) But I am pretty sure I also saw her post this w/regard to cocci.

yes the wet mash for cocci has the same amt instead using water and adding 1 tsp of sulmet

and if using corid 9.6% put 1 tbsp of the corid in the wet mash

it is very good for them
and I would feed it a week of 7 days
then just three times the next week and then once a week for life of chicken

any questions email me
