how often can i feed my five week olds yogurt? i am afraid i've already spoiled them. i have begun giving it to them every other day, or every third day, mixed into their feed, and now they don't seem as enthusiastic about their plain feed. they still eat it, they just don't dive into it like they used to. i want them to be healthy, and get as much nutrition as possible from their chick food. the temptation to give them a treat overcame me. what have i done? aaahhh...helllppp...i need advice.

It's because baby chicks are just too cute to resist!!! (lol!) I have tried several time to give my 6 week olds yofurt, but they just don't take to it for some reason. But I have still been able to spoil them with pieces of Honey Oatmeal Bread, (no-high frutose)!!! They love the bread and it is so funny to watch them eating it and taking it right out of our hands!
Enjoy spoiling your chicks!!!

Mine are spoiled too. I started giving them yogurt and egg yolk twice a day when they developed pasty butt, and I can't seem to stop!!!!

They only get a little bit, but it's so cute to watch them squabble over the bits of yolk!! It's the highlight of their (and my!) day!! They are growing well and seem perfectly fine, so I have no plans to stop my routine at least until I start giving them other treats, which I won't be doing until they have accepted their grit a little better. They are 11 days old today!
