Yolk on Hatching Eggs, clean?

I know I've read this answer but can't find where.

Shipped eggs. One broke. Little bit of yolk on 2 eggs, thoroughly dried.

To clean or not to clean?

I would definitely wash off yolk from hatching eggs.

And if you ever have an egg explode in the bator, get rid of any that get hit with the gunk. Never had one hatch like that.
