Yolk sack or more?

Is this normal for a new chick? This is my first time incubating and the first chick was already hatched by the time I got home for lunch - sometime between 9 and 12:30. It didn't have anything hanging off of it. The chick in the picture hatched between 1:30 and 4. It was dragging that mass around the bator and the first chick kept stepping on it so I put it in a shallow bowl I warmed to confine it.

. Will it dry up and fall of in the next day or so?

Hmm... A bit hard to tell. Could you maybe get a picture of the gunk hanging from her bottom? It may be a yolk sac....

It escaped from the bowl. Looks like its just hanging by a thread now. Before it was more significant. The other chick is practically stalking it though.
