Found a guinea egg under a tree where they roosted in their first thunderstorm. (I hope they move back into the coop this winter.) It is the only egg I've found so far, they were hatched late this past April.

I gave the egg to a close friend who would get a kick out of it, and she boiled it....and it had no yolk! What does this mean, if anything, and should I be concerned? Any hints on how to find where they are laying other eggs? I have searched and searched, and finally gave up. I just happened to spot this egg amongst some rough pebbles, and I thought is was a puffball mushroom at first.

I have no idea as to an answer but wanted to get this back up where someone who does know may see this and be able to help you.
