Yorkingese

i have a 5 year old Yorkie named J.R.and we adore him. BUT he does NOT like children, is Not afraid of anything( he jumped on the pit bull dog next door and now has 4 drains in his back and I have a $325.00 vet bill, hard to housebreak, but once you have one you will love him. we are 71 years old so guess that makes a difference since we do SPOIL him, Also he weights l2 pounds. You have to buy a teacup Yorkie to get a really small one, but as my vets says, they are the biggest dog is the world crammed down into the smallest body.

since you have your children with him all the time it will probably make a big difference, because like i said we are 71 and have no small children around all the time,so when they come over he is jealous of our time with them, They are a very curious dog interested in everything that goes on around them and very protective of their home and territory, that's why Jr got hurt the dog came in his yard and he wanted him gone, forget the fact the dog outweighed him 60 lbs he was gonna protect his home, but once you have one they are unforgettable. We have a pitt bull of our own and they both play together but Miss Mia lives there so Jr accepts her.

Typically, most symptoms of fear aggression in dogs develop between 18 and 24 months. This is on average. Sometimes they develop younger, sometimes older. Sometimes we can predict issues earlier, but not always.

It is truly disturbing to see fear aggression in a puppy younger than 6 months. The prognosis for treatment in these cases is usually not good.
