I have my incubator in my bedroom, so hopefully nothing will happen with it.

Years ago, I lost my barn full of my beloved sheep and lambs to a fire. Of course the pain subsides but does not ever go away, not really.

I am so sorry that this has happened to you.

And like another poster, if you keep track of who I am, I should have some nice eggs next summer that I will send to you. Please let me knw.

I am sure others will help you start up also.

This is a terrible terrible thing. My heart goes out to you.

I am so sorry for your loss..I honestly cannot imagine the devastating feeling you must be feeling..my prayers are with you..I only have mutts..no layers yet even..if I had good breeders I would gladly share with you..

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My neighbor lost his barn just two months ago. He had a heat lamp in there for some young chicks and they think it was the extension cord that did it. I was home that day and saw the smoke, the family was on vacation at the time. I was able to get over there and get their horses accounted for, but the chicks and all their hay, and saddles, plus the barn was a complete loss. It's a devasting thing, I hope you get back on your feet soon.

I am so sorry. I can not imagine. Would home owners insurance help with rebuilding? I know it won't make it better, but at least you will have somewhere to start anew. Maybe if you rebuild you could install smoke sensitive sprinklers? And a smoke alarm, and maybe it's own circuit breaker? Just ideas.

If I have eggs next year I will gladly share. I have all bantams.

My house burnt down years ago. So I feel your pain.
