You forget how small they are

Just like babies, you forget how small those first eggs are. I wasn't expecting newbie eggs for another 3 weeks, but found this in the nest box with the older girls. They are "red pullets"from TSC and approx 17 weeks old. My September babies didn't lay until 22 weeks, so I guess with the summer sun, they started earlier.
