Dutchy is going wild over her new admirer... she was so hyped that I had to put her to bed right after reading the roosters letter to her. I don’t think she’ll be getting much sleep tonight. Silly little chick, doesn’t she know that California is too far away?
 
I tried explaining to her that he already has lots of girls like Betov-Hen. Unfortunately she didn’t want to listen and is now ignoring me, but she begrudgingly decided to say goodnight to the rooster. Young love... :love:idunno:lau
 
When I got my two Speckled Sussex and Barred Rock I was supposed to also get a Golden Buff. Instead of the Golden Buff I came home with a Gold Neck D'uccle. She too quickly became the favorite and is very much like your Dutchy. Our Daisy is just so amazing that she has also turned out to be Daisy Roo. We are sending her the "crow softly" vibes so we don't have to re-home her. Unimaginable!
