Here I was, skimming through posts, trying to learn as much as I can while waiting for my eggs to hatch. The last thing I remember of this site in the last couple of hours was my exclamation: "OMG! They have PURPLE CHICKENS?!?!?!"

and the next thing I know, I'm on e-bay looking at Lavender Orpington eggs!

Have I mentioned that I'm not even through week 2 of my first incubation?
