Yep...before this group, i was just going to hatch out a few button quail and normal coturnix...NOW...im working on hatching out jumbo coturnix (thanks to everyone braggin up Sams jumbos he he---and i plan to order more next spring/summerrrr)....and im already planning in the works to order some blue faced buttons and other varieties for next spring/summer...just got a nice hanging cage today for the quail....6 holes...3 bird per cage (2 of which will be hens)...with no artificial lighting I have the potenital to collect 1,800 hatching eggs a spring/summer if i figured it out right...watch out next spring/summer...im gonig to be the "crazy quail lady".....
not to mention im wanting a hovabator and am trying to convince myself NOT to make a homemade incubator (fearful i'll mess up ha ha)!!!
I kind of dont want a vaccination for BYC disease...i like it....kinda like a smoker who if given the choice to stop smoking with no side effects says "nope...im happy to smoke" <---my mom...lol
