I got my hatching eggs delivered today. They were thrown into a box with pool noodles.

yep, they deserve a negative, I'd follow up the the postal insurance. I know that many eBay egg sellers are very good, almost paranoid about thorough packaging. this is nothing but a joke, open an arrived damaged or parts missing case.
how many might still be good?

I'm actually looking at many hatching eggs on ebay, can you tell me where they were shipped from so I can avoid the seller? (i don't know if we're allowed to say names, so location is good enough I think)

They'd probably say something like shipping is outhe of their hands, I would send them links on how to pack eggs for shipping properly so others hopefully won't get bad eggs too. they obviously don't have much idea on this.
