You have got to be kidding!!!!

I have three broodies and one hen who might be going broody.

One week one

another next week

Another next week

Another next week (now first one hatching)

now a JG went broody.

O and in the middle of those I had to break my silkies from going broody. (X3)

I've had just about all my Buff Orpingtons broody at once. ( I had around 30 or 50 then! LOL ) Plus a few bantams ...

But right now I only have 3 broody.

I have five and they all started within a couple of weeks of each other.

BA #1 Sitting on 17 of her own eggs--little stinker hid her nest.
EE #1 Hatched out 8 chicks a week and a half agod, great little mamma.
BA #2 Sitting on 11 Rouen duck eggs, saw two fuzzies this morning, hoping for more to come.
BO--Gave her 4 EE chicks last night. She's a complete witch to me, but LOVES having "her" babies.
EE #2 Sitting on shavings, but thinking about putting the other 6 Ruen eggs that are in the bator under her tonight.

I have had 6 this spring, out of 14.

the 4 banties have finally started laying again.

Like women when they hang out together, eventually they're all on the same cycle!

Truer words. Hah.

All of my game birds go broody at the same time. I had 20 hens on the nest, two hatching on the front porch, and so on and so forth for a month until everyone hatched out. I had 100 little chicks running around, I'm down to 20 thanks to predators. >< Ah well, I've seen flocks of 100 birds brooding at the same time.
