You have got to see this Blue Orp/Daddy Long legs UPDATE INFO

Just get him together with TuffoldHens roos/hens....you would have the biggest chickens in the world! Everyone who sees my Sweet Lou, that I got from Tuff, just gawks in amazement at the sheer size of him!

This is Sweet Lou(5 mo.) and that is my huge 250 lb. linebacker son holding him:

He will be something else when he matures. He towers above the the adult RIR and Orp Roos. I wonder how it will effect his breeding capabilities.

Tuff, Sweet Lou is loving life and being the best roo he can be! He is getting fast enough to get plenty of hen action now, has his own gals on his own roost to sleep with, seems to like to hang around with the dogs for some reason and doesn't crow too much at all. Actually, there is less crowing now that Sue has to keep Sweet Lou away from his own personal harem....to busy being vigilant to be proud and crowing!

He still shakes his head at me every time I talk to him and I still think he is the prettiest chicken I've ever seen! I've gotten many compliments on him from the people who drive past my house.

He is a very active breeder and gets quite a work out here. Seems to like our food and has maintained his weight, despite all the extra exercise. He's the only older chicken I have that didn't molt some.

Here's a pic of him that came out a little fuzzy. He's a little camera shy and wouldn't let me get too close that day for a good pic.
