I just bought four pots of mums yesterday to brighten up my porch. Soon I will have cornstalks and pumpkins and Indian corn in the yard and a fall wreath on my front door.

I love fall!

It is coming too early for me.

I love mums though. I have a few plants that came back but I haven't planted any yet.

I love to take pumpkins and use them for flower pots for my mums on the doorsteps too. Of course you hollow out the pumpkin first but they make great fall looking flower pots.

Well the Fall and Halloween Items are coming out in the stores.

Plus you can smell it in the air .. the sent of fall! My Favorite Time of Year!

Started Pulling out the old plants that are done. Harvesting the garden too.

It didn't get above 90 degress today! Unbelievable! We got a good rain before another neighbors funeral this morning. Chickens are loving the coolness!

I wouldn't mind fall so much if it didn't mean that winter was right around the corner. I like fall, but winter stinks! I am still debating on becoming a snow-bird.....at 34 years old
