I cleaned off my dining room table twice yearly since we've lived here (going on ten yrs), and every time I cleaned, those important papers go into a large trashbag and stored in a closet, until I can sort thru a bag and file my papers away !!

This last time I cleaned, it's stayed clean the longest, 'cause I haven't went into a bag to sort out yet

School stuff
Recipes
Coupons
Magazine and newspaper articles saved - mine. (Rest of those magazines have been used by my children for various projects)
Oil lantern wicks
Packages of seeds
Various lists of mine
Mail - bills, junk, other's, catalogs galore, etc....!

A month ago I cleaned my grandparents house. We filled an 8 yard dumpster with items from there kitchen and living room. Most of it was old food and nasty dishes.
