You know it's time to clean house when.......

ROFL I need to make the same disclaimer about some, if not all, of my posts in this thread.

The real posts would have been too boring...

My cousin was preparing the house for in-laws annual visit at Christmas time. She lifted the china ornaments off the mantle piece in order to dust. Appalled at the thickness of the layer of dust and realising this task was too much on top of everything else, she carefully replaced the ornaments in exactly the same places so as not to disturb the dust, and flung a load of holly over! A great cleaning tip, worth passing on I think!!

When it's 45 degrees outside and you say to the Company, let's just eat outside and breathe that wonderful country air, usher them to the side porch, by passing the house entirely. The porch is nicely decorated with chick en brooders and bunny pens on one side, but around the corner of the porch....It is wonderful, albeit cozy, cold side of the house with crockpot plugged in and table set...and candles ready for lighting.. Candlelight dinners are wonderful!. MMMMMM Did I do this??? Only about 30 people on BYC would know......LOL. This is perfect, I do clean those brooders regularly. Guests get to ohh and ahh and I don't clean house...

Is this a true story?????

I'll not answer! Have a blessed day and be sure to clean enough but not to much....Enough to find your car keys, wallet, purse, other inhabitants of the house, pets,.....etc...

Love, prayers and hugs to all.....Nancy

(If laughter cured all, I would never have a cold!)

When you can't get one of the drawers in the refrigerator open because of the berry juice that spilled this summer.

It would have been so much easier if I had just cleaned it up right after it happened.

I've got melted chocolate ice cream in the bottom of my freezer... which wouldn't be so bad, except it's a trio fridge, 2 french style fridge doors on top, and a giant freezer drawer on bottom... and I can't clean the ice cream off unless I unload the entire freezer... remove the baskets, and practically crawl into the freezer.... ugh.
