I was thinking, you know you have gone quackers for ducks when. . .
•your favorite Christmas gift is new mud boots.
•you plan your garden around what your ducks like.
•your friends and family know not to phone you around sunset since that is “ducky bedtime”.
•you get excited when you find mealworms on sale.
•the right number of ducks is just one more.

What would you add?

You feel guilty when you find an egg stash and you take them because you know deep in your heart 20...something ducks is enough. AND you know somewhere out there, there maybe a duck that needs a new home.

You call them to come to bed [around sunset when your friends and relatives are not to call] and talk them all to their place in the coop in order. Tell them "Good night. Behave! And don't do anything I wouldn't do". Then stand and listen to make sure they have settled down and not got into a big fight before sleeping.

This was the spoke duck for this day, I know I know it's a chicken but they sent her over the fence to remind me they were all waiting for their mealworms and I was late.
