The key is making sure that my hair and arm are not brushing the fence and that the damp string ties are not touching my leg when I turn it back on.



For me it's more likely to be my evening Bible study.

I have two plastic lawn chairs in the run so that my DH or my 14yo can join me. The overturned chairs make good anti-hawk hiding places too. :)
Whew! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has a lawn chair in the run! :D
 
Looks like its going to be wandering out in the outer bands of Hurricane Sally for the next few days to feed the chicks. at least the rain is ensuring they have a steady supply of clean water.

just glad its not coming closer -well it is, but weaker - and hopeful its slow movement is giving those in low lying areas time to escape the oncoming drenching.
 
...you transport them with you to your beach house with you for better air. 3 hour drive. U-haul trailer.
