You know they need something, food, water, etc, because Whiskers the worlds smartest chicken escapes to go find you. She will follow me around and chew me out till I go out to the coop. I open the door and she walks right in. For the life of me I can not figure how she gets out! But its only when they need something.

I swear! I do! Every year! One is full of things like lettuce, chard, spinach, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, beets, beans, peas and strawberries...the other one is devoted to corn!
