Xavier nodded to Lena to start. She pulled steady and evenly on the wing. Xavier looked over at the break."Just a little further. Okay! Hold it right there, Lena. Now Charlotte line the bones up and hold them that way, until we get the sticks in each side. Then wrap the wire in between the fight feathers and around the wing." He instructed. He nodded to Solander to pick a stick up and he got the other. They held them with their beaks for Charlotte to do the rest.

Charlotte did as instructed, then wrapped the wire around the sticks.

Autumn had Saratoga pinned.

"A leaf?" Charlotte suggested.

"How about, we search in the rubbish bags for something to use. The humans must of thrown something useful away." Autumn suggested.

Xavier nodded in agreement. "That's a wonderful idea, Autumn! Let's go, who's coming? " He asked.

Lena shook her head. "Not me, I'll stay with Saratoga." She said.

Solander said, " Me no go. We watch over females."

Xavier looked at Charlotte with a questioning look.
 
Saratoga would wince at the pain but stood strong, she was surprised with herself that she hadn't yelled out yet. She just waited till it was done

Autumn stepped forward. "I'd like to help. If it's alright with you, Xavier."
