You might be a crazy chicken lady/gent if...Go on, post yours!

You might be a crazy chicken lady... if one of your proudest accomplishments is turning a small child into a chicken nerd! I gave away free roosters at our little store here, and one 5yo kid took two of them home. Now every time he's in town to visit his grandma, she brings him up to my house to see what other chickens I might give him. He took a pair of 4wk OEGB chicks home last week. Wahoo, YAY for chicken nerds!

Wait till you see the set up my husband is building in the garage for my roosters. Permanent cages (large cages) built into the wall - kennel style. Gotta love the man

People no longer ask how the boys ( my children ) are and just ask "How many eggs today"?
Is it crazy that I have asked for a "chicken cam" for mother's day?

If you are excited about soon having WAY more chicks than you are legally allowed on their way to you in the mail (3 weeks tomorrow!)

But are just as excited to see what your mutt eggs look like when the kindergarten class you donated them to hatches them (also 3 weeks tomorrow by amazing coincidence!)

I am just glad that it's my coworker who offered to take them when they hatch so I can see what they look like when they grow up. His wife is the TA and I know that both of them will be great chickenparents and give me updates!

When you train your chickens to jump for treats.

When you have a blog devoted to your chickens.

When you're on an unrelated forum and you're known as the girl with the chickens.
