As a first timer, First, I want to thank everyone for all of the great ideas, and share what I think is a funny occurrence.
So, as you can see in the photo, I used a RED plastic Tupperware lid (thanks to my wife for allowing that ! LOL) and I mixed the chick starter feed and water, and put it in the brooder.
I read on another post that they go crazy for it, and sure enough, they did.
So after doing this once a day, for about a week, I came home this afternoon and reached in to change their water.
They went nuts, and began pecking my shirt like crazy......
Then I realized, I had a red long sleeve shirt on.....and they were keying in on the color.
Just to make sure it was the color, I went inside, took the shirt off, and they did not react that way again.
