I had finished a half of the shelter then screamed. "I gotta get outta here!!!!!!" I took a deep breath and listened to my voice echo through the forest. I chuckled to myself. "Hello!!!!" My voice echoed again, I laughed that was one way of keeping me occupied

I looked around "I think I heard a hello coming from where the crash is" I said.

I laughed. Oh no, I'm already going nuts. I pet Moody. "This is it Bud I think we're the only ones who survived, unless others got lucky." I stretched out my arm and screamed. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!" The pain was horrible if only the gash would just go away.

I looked around. 'Everything's going to be okay. We can do this.' I assured myself. Lady Marigold looked up at me, I smiled back at her. I walked forward, trying to convince myself that I shouldn't be shy, the snow crunched beneath my boots as I headed towards the people I had seen.

I sat on my dog crate with Griz, wordlessly watched the people and world around me. Counting.

Griz rested his head on my lap, breathing slowly.

I winced at the pain, Moody tried to soothe me with his gentle chirps and whistles. I gently pet him with my good arm as I sat on a giant piece of metal. "Oh Moody, what would I do without you?" I asked with a whisper. "We need to get outta here and find others." I said standing up and tucking Moody into my hood. I began my search, on a worn trail where it seemed human footprints were. Small chickadees chopped and whistled warning the deer of my presence. I sighed as Moody made a low growling sound at the loud chickadees, I shushed him with a gentle "shhhhh..." I wanted to relax, tending up would cause great pain to the giant gash on my arm

I walked closer, towards the people. I shook, terrified of everything that had happened. "Come on Marigold. We can't stop and scratch about." I said, laughing nervously.
