Since I can't find where my original post is, you will know who you are.
It turns out that all 3 of my babies were indeed males. The third one, that the vet said was female, did indeed come into his voice the day before he was culled, and that was the morning after I spotted him 'mounting' his surrogate mum.
So my apologies to those who said they were all boys, you were indeed right.
