A seller passed off a young cockerel to me as an older pullet. I would keep him if I lived in the country, but I don't, and I know someone in the neighborhood would report me if he starts crowing! The seller told me he was hatched in February, but I don't believe that because he is still making a chick-like peeping noise. If you are in the Escambia County, Florida area and could use an Australorp rooster for breeding, flock protection, or a pet, please let me know!
