Young chick is very weak

Whenever I get chicks... And trust me, there will be many more times for you too, I like to have Corid on hand. A sick droopy chick like that makes me think of coccidiosis.

Yes, that was my first thought. I gave her corid for a whole day but when she wasn't getting any better and the others weren't getting sick at all I followed what others were suggesting. They told me to give her nutri-drench and sugar water. I stopped the corid because the others weren't lethargic at all. I won't know what she had unless others get sick too, which hopefully won't happen. I'll be watching them all very closely, if any others start showing symptoms I will probably treat them all. Thanks for all the advice

Corid powder dosage is 1 1/2 teaspoonsful per gallon, while Corid liquid dosage is 2 teaspoonsful per gallon, for 5 days. Givesome probiotics or plain yogurt, and some poultry vitamins when they finish the Corid.
