young chick off his legs

Hi Can anyone help please. Have a young chick (about 3 weeks), first to hatch, very loud and energetic, moving around enthusiastically. Noticed yesterday he is off his legs, still bright and calling, eating and drinking, but shuffle walking on the backs of his legs from elbow rather than on his feet. What can I do?

Try a few drops of poly-vi-sol everyday. If it's gonna help at all, you should see results in less than a week. I currently have 2 chicks on the poly-vi-sol for a similar problem. The one went down, and once I put her on the drops, she was back up on her feet in 6 days.

Make sure it's the Poly-Vi-Sol without Iron added. Do be sure to check the chick over carefully for any injuries or signs of illness, too. Best of luck for a fast recovery!
